The WHS Dance Team will be holding tryouts for the fall 2024 season.  Tryouts are open to all students currently in grades 8-11 who plan on attending Wakefield High School in the fall. Tryouts will run today through Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 in the upstairs gym at WMHS.  Please wear comfortable clothing you can dance in and have sox, jazz booties and sneakers with you. No need for tights and a leotard but be sure to bring plenty of water with you.

Applications for the 2024-25 term are now open for all Wakefield residents aged 13-18. The Wakefield Youth Council is a platform for young people to engage in local governance, voice their opinions, and implement initiatives that matter to them. As a member, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, community leaders, and local government officials to address issues affecting Wakefield's youth, as well as enhance your leadership skills and resume. To apply, fill out the application for appointment located on the Town of Wakefield website and submit it before the deadline on May 17.
