Best Buddies will be hosting an event after school on Wednesday, May 1. Students will meet at Kushala Sip Coffee House on Main Street in Stoneham to grab a coffee followed by a yoga class at a studio next door at 3pm. Please see Ms Steele if you would like to attend one or both parts of the event as the yoga class has limited spots."

The WHS Dance Team will be holding tryouts for the fall 2024 season.  Tryouts are open to all students currently in grades 8-11 who plan on attending Wakefield High School in the fall. Tryouts will run Monday, May 6th through Thursday May 9th from 3:30 to 5:30 in the upstairs gum at WMHS.  Please wear comfortable clothing you can dance in and have sox, jazz booties and sneakers with you. No need for tights and a leotard but be sure to bring plenty of water with you.

WMHS Recycling warriors meet today! Teachers please place bins in hallways! May is on its way! Have a fun day!! Rock on !

Applications for the 2024-25 term are now open for all Wakefield residents aged 13-18. The Wakefield Youth Council is a platform for young people to engage in local governance, voice their opinions, and implement initiatives that matter to them. As a member, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers, community leaders, and local government officials to address issues affecting Wakefield's youth, as well as enhance your leadership skills and resume. To apply, fill out the application for appointment located on the Town of Wakefield website and submit it before the deadline on May 17. This is just a reminder about today's Credit for Life Fair for Seniors, during F and G blocks. ALL SENIORS will report to their F block class and then come down to the field house for the Fair.
